An All Too Short Trip North

This last week we took a short trip to Seattle Tuesday, Valentine's Day. We had a chance to visit with and stay with Matt and Beth's and the kids. It is so neat to live only three hours away from them. We also had a chance to go to Trader Joe's ( our favorite place) to get our stash of food supplements.

Ron had some business to take care of with renewing his Mexican passport at the Consulate there in Seattle on Wednesday. The process was a bit of a long wait but he came back from his appointment with the new one in hand. He has dual citizenship so he is able to travel in and out of Mexico with out a visa for any extended visits.

We had Tai dinner with Matt and Beth's family. It was a new experience for us to taste the Tai food and curry. We had a great time and loved being with the kids. Baby Tess had grown so much and was as cute and happy as ever.

Valentine from My Sweetheart

We headed back the next day, on Wednesday. The weather was good, and not much rain to deal with like the day before.

We hardly had time to think about Valentine's being gone, but Ron got me a surprise Azalea plant and an sweet card. I was thrilled. We have it in the living room on the table and it brightens up the room. He is so thoughtful and takes charge of watering it for me, so it is sure to survive until we can plant it outside. He also got one of those Mylar balloons, that says, "I Love You."

I appreciate so much his kindness and loving attention to be sure I am loved and well taken care of. I love being a wife and just doing things together, even the simplest of things like both making lunch or dinner. He spoils me and makes breakfast for us a lot of the time. What a man.

I constantly express my gratitude and give him lots of hugs and kisses with those thanks you's.
